Coaching introduction
Unlocking the vast potential within individuals and organizations is the essence of coaching. However, each person and scenario calls for a unique approach.
Our introductory process involves a detailed questionnaire, which you can fill out in advance or use as a stepping stone during your inaugural coaching session.
Exploratory Coaching
Individuals often harbour entrenched misconceptions, self-imposed limitations, and skewed perceptions that can be challenging to identify initially.
This exploratory phase of coaching, while not a counselling session, offers immense value in exposing and tackling these self-defeating beliefs that inhibit optimal performance, akin to a race car spinning out due to a locked wheel, trapped in a repetitive cycle of unconstructive thought patterns.
Following this phase, some clients may feel they’ve reached their objective. Yet, each session may unearth new perspectives, motivations, and potential actions that can catalyse breakthroughs and positive transformations.
Focused Coaching
While the exploratory coaching approach is a common starting point, it can, if unchecked, devolve into mere comforting dialogue, devoid of decisive, purposeful change.
In contrast, our focused coaching approach involves working hand-in-hand with clients to compile a tailor-made list of topics believed to be most beneficial for them.
While each coaching session maintains an open-ended structure, there’s an agreed-upon portion dedicated to reflecting on pre-determined topics. This approach’s flexibility allows for the shifting of goals, accommodating life’s unpredictable situations, and altering topics to delve deeper into beneficial areas.
Focused coaching’s true strength lies in its prescriptive path, fostering real learning and fertile opportunities for personal and professional development.
Group Coaching
Group coaching boosts executive skills through shared learning. By interacting with others, you gain fresh ideas and strategies, fostering better teamwork and leadership.
The power of group coaching lies in the supportive network it creates. Unlike individual coaching, you can bounce ideas off peers facing similar challenges. This support helps you grow professionally and navigate business hurdles with ease.
It is most effective when embedding previous training or taking the group through a pre agreed coaching topic agenda. Any confidential work can be carried out individually or away from the coaching session.
In summary, group coaching offers valuable insights and a supportive network, making it a great cost effective alternative to 1:1 coaching.
